Admission to MSc Physics Programme 2016 

 

          Admission to MSc Physics Programme 2016 is now closed

14 June 2016

 
Subsequent to the first counselling that ended on 14 June 2016, the following candidates are selected for admission in MSc Physics. They should contact the University Office immediately, not later than 18 June 2016 with all their educational documents and get admitted by paying the requisite fees. They are advised to bring along their parents/guardians for counselling.

Candidates must bring the following documents for admission:
 
(1) Madyamik admit card / certificate (original and 1 self attested xerox copy) for age proof.
(2) Madyamik/ Class X Marksheet  (original and 1 self attested xerox copy) 
(3) Higher Secondary/ Class XII Marksheet  (original and 1 self attested xerox copy) 
(4) BSc marksheets (original and 1 self attested copy) 
(5) Fitness certificate
(6) 4 copies of passport size photographs
Fees payable at the time of admission: Rs.17050/-.
 

 The following is the Fee Structure for the 4-semester M.Sc. Physics Programme:

 
Admission-cum-Registration Fees (one time): Rs.5000/-
Tuition Fees: Rs.6000/- per semester
Laboratory Fees: Rs.3000/- per semester
Examination Fees: Rs.1000/- per semester
Identity Card: Rs.50/-
Caution Deposit (refundable on completion of the course after deduction for breakages etc, if any):
Rs.2000/-
Fees payable at the time of admission: Rs.(5000+6000+3000+1000+50+2000) = Rs.17050/-
Fees payable each subsequent semester (2nd, 3rd and 4th): Rs.(6000+3000+1000) = Rs.10000/-

Candidates who have been selected for admission to MSc Programme in physics 2016 are asked to appear for a counselling session on any one of the following days: 

13 June 2016 , 14 June 2016 

at 10:30 AM

at the Belur main campus of the University. There will be no interview.
 
Please bring along all educational documents (marksheets, certificates etc.), since madhyamik level.
Candidates seeking hostel admission must come with their parents/guardians. 
Attending the counselling session is mandatory. 
 
Admission process shall begin immediately after the counselling.
Last date of taking admission is 22 June 2016.
 
Candidates must bring the following documents for admission:
